Frosty Mini

Tuesday, January 24th, 2006

I’ve always done pixel art. I did it before there were webcomics back in 2nd grade. Hardcore, you could call me. Well, whether this is a turn for the hardercore or lamecore, I’ma prolly stick to it. Frosty Mini is a frosty village mini pixel comic. I can make one in about a minute, so I won’t post an update to often when I do one. Don’t worry, there will still be regular Frosty Village, and now that I am done with finals, and college apps (I’m actually getting my acceptance letters already!), I’ll get back to drawing. Frosty Mini will consist mostly of all the bad jokes I would feel to ashamed to put in the actual Frosty Village. Thanks for putting up with me, and check out Frosty Mini in the Phat Comics section.

Silent Hill Poster Contest

Friday, January 6th, 2006

The joint (Penguinbros.com) is jumping to-nite, with the launch of Chromablade over on the forums. So that’s fine and all, but what really matters is that you vote for my crappy Silent Hill Poster in the Silent Hill Movie Poster Contest!!!

This is the link that you need to click on to see the poster and the button to vote is on the top of that page kthxbye

Please vote. Vote for the children.

P.S. You have to fill out that contact information page or your vote doesn’t get registered. I know some of you are lazy. I also know some of you enjoy the use of your legs. It doesn’t take a genius to do the math here, people.

Sam & Max: Flintlocked

Monday, January 2nd, 2006

I am pleased to announce the grand public unveiling of
Sam & Max: Flintlocked

This is a fangame based on Steve Purcell’s beloved Sam & Max comics. It is being developed by Mid-Morning Productions, a small but dedicated team of artists, writers, and programmers of which we (Red Penguin and Myself) are apart of. Penguinbros.com is also hosting the website for the game along with its forum. We are all very proud of this project, and hope that you will share in our passion towards the furry dynamic duo of Sam & Max, Freelance Police.

The game will be broken up into several “acts,” and sequentially released as free downloads for the PC (a Mac release will not occur, unfortunately). No firm date has been set for the release of Act 1. A demo will be released some time in 2006.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Sunday, January 1st, 2006

WOWZA!!! What a year! For starters, it was our first full year of PBv3.0! That went well. Also, our total hits for this year were flippen’ awesome: 1,147,455!!! That is a lot of hits. I really wanna thank those of you who stayed loyal to the Igloo; to name some names (in order of total posts): Evil_Monkey, icy penguin, koffyninja, DyanPanda, Ninja Penguin, eZZy, Big Blue Penguin, and Brave_Fencer_Lumis. You guys rocked. Those who stayed loyal to Frosty Village, which now that I have finished the college application process (*shudder*), I can now update again! I’ve been working hard on a lot of ‘behind the scenes’ stuff for PB. Big things headed our way. I’m just really glad we made it this far, and I’m looking forward to seeing where it will take us.

And…
Happy New Year
