Maybe not the oldest. But we were out there kicking butt back in 2001, and even earlier than that on platforms like Angel Water and Geocities (RIP to the tuba of them). And after something like a three year hiatus, Purp and I got to thinking, it’s about time we make waves on the world wide lazy river again; so we re-inflated our floaties, and got back on the intertubes.

The site is looking pretty different now, yeah? Games, the comic (Frosty Village), and anything else you might see are all joint efforts now. We may be two penguins, but we’re one set of brothers, just how mom made us.

Back from Japan; Frosty Village; Igloo City… (No Comments)

Hey guys! Gals! Transgender? It’s been awhile, so let me tell you what’s changed, and what’s the same! Earlier this summer I went to Tokyo to study manga and anime! Talk about a fun class! Talk about informative! I’ll just throw out a few animes out there for anyone who wants to watch something interesting (that I like): Noein, Mushishi, Seirei no Moribito, Photon, Blue Submarine no.6. If you’ve seen all of these, ask me for more, I’m educated! While in Japan I formed a band with some of the locals, and we played a couple gigs! It was all covers, but still fun. After my trip to the east, I went westward (and north) to Antarctica and stayed at home for a few weeks (in the good old F.V.). I’m back in Igloo City with all my homies. I’m still enrolled at the I.C.S.D. – and have become a junior, but that’s just thanks to time and good grades.

You may not have noticed, but I’ve been secretly updating! Here’s a list of what is new.
These three games are prototypes, but I thought I’d let you play them! Remember, PROTOTYPES! They still have glitches! (small ones anyway)

InfinuS: A top down shmup. Use wasd to move and the cursor to fire!

Spacetower: Up to two players (hit the 2 key to bring in the second player) wasd and arrows, avoid falling walls!

Hobakudan: Tag! Use wasd yghj and the keypad to play a three player game of tag (press 2 or 3 to bring in those players respectively). The number on the main platform says who’s it). You can double jump. Don’t fall from to high or you will get stunned!

Also, there are some new drawings. So check out my gallery.
Frosty Village will start up again soon. I’ve moved into a much nicer apartment where I can safely draw. (F.V. is down right now, it’ll be fixed presently)

Hey guys! This penguin (wayfaring from my netly duties) is off to the land of the rising sun for some good old-fashioned learning! I’ll be there from tomorrow till the 4th of July! Hey guys, if you have an iPod Touch or an iPhone, and have installed the latest firmware (you’ll know if you did, it cost $20), bookmark Penguinbros and put it on your Home Screen. You’ll see that it has a custom icon! Man! We are some of the first! Google don’t have one, Meebo doesn’t have one… HECK! APPLE DOESN’T EVEN HAVE ONE YET! Just saying. We first.

The Battle for the Box returns! (No Comments)

Back from the black void! Red Penguin is here to entertain and inspire! Hey guys, how’s doin? I’ve had a tough (but well graded) third semester at FVSD, and am entering my fourth. Purple has “gouged me from my shell,” and forced me into a delicious boiling pot of “doing-Frosty Village-lobsters”. I have delivered. What else is new? I’m a bit older… It’s 2008. But not much else. Ooh! I got to work on an MMO (sort of) that I had designed in the 10th grade, and it’s nearly in live beta, if I feel like it’s coded safely enough, I’ll open beta here (complete with forms to fill out to play it).

This current plot arc in Frosty Village is to be completed in the next 5 or so comics. The newest one (todays update) is called “Lock Box”. Simple backgrounds and shading, getting back into the swing of drawing FV.

It’s really late right now, but Purp wanted me to tell you’ze about this. Its a new game; called Adventure.… I’ll write more about it later, read the manual.

Karma? (No Comments)

Hey guys! Last week I wasn’t able to post because I went out camping at a hack site (in Buellton, CA) to help take care of some peregrine falcons. You might not know, but those guys were endangered! I got to help out by watching them from afar (can’t have them getting used to being helped or around penguins) and scaring off predators in a cool truck (OFF ROAD!!! XD). I got sunburnt, but that’s fine. When I got back I figured I had some good karma, and talked up my three day camping trip to be something more important than it probably was. Well, I got karma’ed alright. I (as of 2 days ago) came down with a bacterial throat infection… Of corse Lime gets back the day I get sick. Looks like karma wasn’t on my side after all.

What have I DONE?!!! Generally a cliché question, generally said by mad scientists. Well, if you haven’t been checking on your own, I’ve been updating my portfolio every once in awhile. There is a new section, Sexy Girls, what has two new updates. I recently discovered the tool liquify (I’m dumb for not noticing it), and decided plaid skirts where where it’s at. Also, because of popular demand (and the fact that there are people who are finding it that I have never heard of), I have brought back EGG GAME. Go adopt some eggs. Also, another game I’ve made (sorry, not a flash game… sort of) is called Prime. It’s a card game! I haven’t posted official directions, but you can read how to play here. That’s it for now. I’ll try and finish one of the thousand unfinished games I’ve started.
