Oops!

Monday, March 6th, 2006

If you’re wondering where FV and Frosty Mini are… well, they aren’t. I lost my pens at school the first day I was out of my house, and Frosty Mini was opened in preview and saved and I couldn’t make new ones (don’t worry, I have the OG psds on my home computer). I’ll make two FVs for next weekend.
Thanks for being so nice!

Silent Hill Poster Contest

Friday, January 6th, 2006

The joint (Penguinbros.com) is jumping to-nite, with the launch of Chromablade over on the forums. So that’s fine and all, but what really matters is that you vote for my crappy Silent Hill Poster in the Silent Hill Movie Poster Contest!!!

This is the link that you need to click on to see the poster and the button to vote is on the top of that page kthxbye

Please vote. Vote for the children.

P.S. You have to fill out that contact information page or your vote doesn’t get registered. I know some of you are lazy. I also know some of you enjoy the use of your legs. It doesn’t take a genius to do the math here, people.

Sam & Max: Flintlocked

Monday, January 2nd, 2006

I am pleased to announce the grand public unveiling of
Sam & Max: Flintlocked

This is a fangame based on Steve Purcell’s beloved Sam & Max comics. It is being developed by Mid-Morning Productions, a small but dedicated team of artists, writers, and programmers of which we (Red Penguin and Myself) are apart of. Penguinbros.com is also hosting the website for the game along with its forum. We are all very proud of this project, and hope that you will share in our passion towards the furry dynamic duo of Sam & Max, Freelance Police.

The game will be broken up into several “acts,” and sequentially released as free downloads for the PC (a Mac release will not occur, unfortunately). No firm date has been set for the release of Act 1. A demo will be released some time in 2006.

Glasses

Saturday, November 19th, 2005

I just got new glasses. They’re round and cartoony! I’m typing simple sentences… What’s weird is that my old glasses didn’t make me 20/20, they said my eyes are getting a little worse (prolly from the compy), so when I got these new ones, my head hurt from seeing so much! Isn’t that really weird? I saw too well. So, I had Lime take a picture of me, and then took them off right away. I need to give my brain a break.

Happy Halloween?

Thursday, November 10th, 2005

Hey guys, I decided to draw some pictures of what the gang and I were dressed as for Halloween. A quick list: Red, or me, was Mega Man X5 from the game of the same name; Purple was The Dude from The Big Lebowski; Blue was Edward Elric from Full Metal Alchemist; Lime was Arwen, like always, from Lord of the RIngs; and Pink was Princess Peach from the Super Mario series.

Happy Halloween folks!

Wait! I can explain!

Friday, October 28th, 2005

If you’ve visited Penguinbros.com recently (and I know you haven’t), you may have noticed that something is missing from the sidebar. Which link is it? It’s GAH! The Official Little Gloomy Fanclub. But just because the link is gone doesn’t mean the website is. It’s temporarily down for some major renovation. When it comes back up you’ll understand.

In other news, I’m getting my hands on a midi keyboard, so now I can finish up the songs for a couple of projects that Red Penguin is itching to upload… but I’ve said too much.

ELITE: Last Dawn

Thursday, September 22nd, 2005

SOOOOOORRRRYYYYYY!!!!!! Ever since we have updated with v3.0, we’ve slowed down our post count… A lot has been going down, and I am working a ton on the site, it’s just that what I am working on are all projects that need finishing. The Finch is almost done, and so are the figures. I am making stencils for silkscreens for the store, I’m a busy penguin. Well, since I feel so bad, I desided to leave you with two images:

A character I roleplay as in the new RP in The Igloo, Elite: Last Dawn.
• All the vinyl prototypes I’ve made up to the final polished figure.

Thanks for being patient.

The Scoop

Sunday, September 18th, 2005

What have I been up to? Well, outside of settling into college, I have been wheeling and dealing on behalf of Penguinbros.com. Let me elaborate:

In this corner… Negotiations have been made with a Scott Harvey, creator of the now defunct Obsidian Realm for the permission to recycle its content into a bigger, better, and badder website (to recap for the 99.9% of Penguinbros.com readers out there - Obsidian is an old computer game for the Mac/PC that I love very much). Now I would be content to simply create the greatest Obsidian website ever known and save the Obsidian community and potentially bring Obsidian back into the gaming mainstream - as it were - through the sheer number of petition signatures I’m planning on gathering, but I like to think outside of the box. So maybe a site about all great games (old school, natch) is in order.

And in this corner… a six foot anthropomorphic dog and a three foot hyperkinetic rabbity thing.

Appropriately coming soon. But sooner than you’d think.
