One of the things I pride myself about antiART is that everything on there has been made by me. All the photos are mine, and every last curious image is a result of my work. My latest work, Phased, breaks rank. The players in this piece - the deer and the red flowers - are not works of mine. I did not take a picture of that deer, nor did I pen those flowers (they are drawings, and not real). Secondly, that is a dark patch of fur, not a bullet wound. Thirdly and finally, I did not invent that background color: I stole it from Photoshop. Forgive me readers, for I know not what I’m doing with my life.
For this week’s Stereotypical, I present another song from the Flintlocked project. Except, this song was just finished, tonight. Actually, this song (which are/will be the opening titles to the game) was started at least a year ago. That’s kind of scary. I hope that for you it is entertaining for a year - or more! Oh and here’s the link to “this song,” Opening Title.
Postscript: This song is meant to go directly into Warehouse. Neat, huh?

Click the link for nougaty goodness. Happy Halloween!!!
New “Frosty Village”. It’s in quotes because it is more of a pin-up rather than a comic. This one is called ‘BATTLE START!’. You can probably guess, the battle is starting in this one. Back next week with full comic.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRO! Man, you’re 20. that is a lot of days you’ve been around. Roughly 7,300 days. I mean, leap-year and all. 7,300 actually doesn’t sound like a lot. Hrm. Well, that aside, you’re older than the Teen Titans, the Ninja Turtles, and just about every other hero I’ve had (Power Rangers). That’s a little scary, but it’s been a fantastic teens with you. And we can still share my teens, I still have a year and a half, little less actually… GAH! This is too much. 20 is old. You’re old. Kids don’t run Penguinbros.com now, now a young adult and a kid run it. You young adult you. Well happy birthday, and now to the update:
A new game. Not just any game, this one is for you, Purple. It’s called cake run; in it, you run on a cake. Just play and try it out. I threw it together, you’ll have another present coming during our next break, midterms made it tough to get the supplies I needed to make it. Hope you dig the game!
Love, Red
Okay, to celebrate this magical Residents week (only six more days until the screening and my birthday!!), here are some cool “Res” updates. First off, we got written up in the Walt Street Journal Online because of our Residents video submission! The article is viewable here, but this link may expire in a week (the WSJ is for paid members, you know), so that happens I’ll provide an archived version of the article… but until then this link should suffice.
EDIT: The link has indeed become unavailable for non-subscribers. I have archived the article here for your convenience.
The second Residents themed update is this week’s antiART. Before I post it, I should probably mention where it’s sourced from. In 2004, Red Penguin and I were commissioned to do a one minute music video for The Residents for their Commercial DVD. The video, which we’ve never made available until now out of respect for the band, is called Secrets.
So if you seen the video by now, you may recognize this image of the “Spider City.” It’s the cityscape backdrop in second shot featuring the spider towards the end. I’d post the other backdrop, but Red made that one and I don’t know how he’d take to that (maybe I should ask?)
We’ve reached the end of it, but it’s only just beginning! Stay Tuned!
No Frosty Village this week… Unless I can find the time.
I wrote this tune more than a year ago, and it’s been sitting on my hard drive collecting neat little cobwebs ever since. It was a spur-of-the-moment attempt at creating a theme song to The Super Scary Monster Show - Featuring Little Gloomy. And folks, that’s my Stereotypical for the week. I’m sorry I couldn’t offer something with a little more meat, but no time…
Oh, I forgot to mention that this song has lyrics you can sing along with! (more…)
